OUR COMMERCIAL APPROACH
Quality really can come at a fair price.
Go to most recruitment agencies and they will give you very similar USPs (not really that unique at all). At Fetch we think that we really are a bit different and can give clients and candidates alike, a number of reasons to pick the phone up to us.
We do what you expect from us and we do it very well. Recruitment agencies will tell you that they have a huge candidate database, access to the best job boards and recruitment consultants with deep and specialist knowledge of the market that they are recruiting into.
We offer all of that but actually we provide a genuinely different approach in terms of our commercial terms. We reward our clients for giving us exclusivity and give a better level of service for lower fees.
Where we are the only agency briefed on a vacancy and no internal searches are made we will charge 10% of basic salary on permanent hires (you can contact us for information about our interim rates). We do charge a retainer of £500 but will waive this on the first role that you place with us. If you do not wish to pay a retainer then we charge 12.5% of basic salary. If you just brief us but also decide to run your own searches we will charge 17.5% of basic salary. Where one other agency is briefed we charge 20% and where two other agencies are briefed, we charge 25%.
We handle the majority of our roles (usually about 80-85%) on an exclusive basis. By doing this, we are able to work on fewer jobs and subsequently can spend more time on each of them. We fill most of our vacancies rather than the usual conversion rate of 1 in 4 placed by other agencies. Because of this, we do not charge clients for wasted effort on roles that we do not fill for other clients. You get a much better service that includes search and selection for much lower fees.
We have more time on roles because we are not in a rush to get candidates across to clients before our competitors. We always speak to the same candidates, when you brief multiple agencies, the fact is it is just a case of who gets to the candidate first. With more time, we unearth more talent and present a stronger field of candidates.
Our focus is on partnering clients and presenting their organisation in the best possible light. You only have to take a look at the adverts that we write to see this. You won't catch our recruiters copying and pasting a job description into one of their adverts. We take time over getting things done properly.
